Before we dive deep in the magic of this life mantra that will offer us a simple yet extraordinary way to live life fully, what we must understand is the common thread that constructs a human-chain and connects us all to each other regardless of distinct identities we are born with.

So, here,

What a child (without any core duties of his own) gets from his mother is called “unconditional love” — What the child eventually shuns (during the process of learning & unlearning) while growing up is “fear and hesitation”.

What he adopts (from his constant choices in later life) once all grown-up, is “freedom” — What in the race of restless livelihood and his conscious choices he forgets to cherish, is actual “treasure of life”.

After all, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough”, says Mae West.

While peddling the cycle of Karma, the actions we choose spiritually decide our “fate” but how we opt to perform our actions decide our “peace of mind”.

Life goes on. With or without one. Don’t we all play our individual roles (from origin to its roots) and at some stage of our showtime we hand over the charge to our contemporaries, who again, live, (right from arriving to being introduced to the world) but in the speediness of time, they own a pace, endure hardships and racing against all odds, forget to take a break and smile, thus, losing the charm of their actual purpose of living. Not worth. Is it!

Because, according to Dalai Lama, the (actual) purpose of our lives is to be happy.” (only & principally)

The world is a mean place, it treats you right only when you treat yourself well. True!

And, one must create, own and secure his place in order to survive in this not-so-kind world, because again, in a nutshell, the world is a mean place. True!

But, you see it isn’t the only truth. No one actually ever teaches us the core concept of living and letting (a few things at least) go. It lies in finding the fruits of life while munching on the sweetness of the fruit itself.

As aptly put together by John Lennon, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.”

When a new-born comes to the world, first-person he recognizes is his mother, his parents who would shield him from the ruthlessness of life as long as possible and in all the ways possible. But, then he grows and as he does so, he gets exposed to the tough atmosphere and harsh realities of life, which in some way or the other, teach us all to fight our own battles and primarily, teach us to fight. (Because, well! nothing comes easy, not even an infant always finds the attention of his mother unless he tries a few tantrums).

So what is there for us to learn in it!

Remember the proverbial phrase! “When life gives you lemons, make a lemonade” (Well, what if we aren’t good enough at making a lemonade or if all that we need is just an orange/a lemon pie). Right! So let’s just take a break from staying in power always. And then go for it your way. Because being practical doesn’t always turntables to your side or does it?

Well, also because ‘happiness’ is just a state of mind (so as soon as you decide you are inching closer to it). ‘Feeling good’ is just an emotion to catch. And ‘trying to be happy’ is just a vision to find. So either of these can be delayed (in case adversities surround you) but not denied if you truly desire for it.

Now, following 7 mantras will further help you find your way to your ultimate destination (it might not bring accolades to you making you win a competitive race but it will certainly help you take over the supremacy of living).

  • Live and love unconditionally.
  • Forgive openly.
  • Express your emotions as much as you can.
  • Be optimistic.
  • Laugh as often as possible.
  • Breathe and lionize the present.
  • Feed on positive thoughts.

And only that. Because, while performing our ‘Karma” what we should also keep in mind is the ‘purpose of human life’ and ‘secret of living’.

P.S: In times of a universal crisis such as COVID 19 pandemic, let’s find unity in serving the humanity and embrace each other’s struggle while battling for a common cause. It’s time we look around and pledge to stand for each other, no matter what comes.
